The first thing that comes to mind when you walk out of Nelson's Doctor is that it's the opposite of anything you've ever seen in a Shivakartikan movie. Fresh departure from the colorful entertainers for which he is famous Shivakartikian embraces the dark character of an army doctor who pursues a human trafficking gang with minimal dialogue. Nelson created a delicious evil dark comedy that works despite the plot and twist of his predictions. Even the most mundane scenes are elevated by strange behavior.
