Realme 8s 5G design

The Realme 8s 5G looks almost identical to the Realme 8 5G, which might have been the base for this new smartphone. As with the Realme 8 5G, this new phone has a 6.5-inch display with a hole in the top left corner for the camera. The sides of the phone are thin, but the chin is thicker. A Realme phone has the earpiece pushed right up against the plastic frame between the display and the display panel. On the Realme 8s 5G, the fingerprint scanner is mounted on the right side, which is accessible. The volume buttons are located on the opposite side and are also easily accessible. A 3.5mm stereo headphone jack, a speaker, a primary microphone, and a USB type-C port are found on the bottom of the frame, while the second microphone is found only on the top.

Realme 8s 5G specifications

A 6.5-inch full-HD+ display and 90Hz refresh rate are part of the Realme 8s 5G's display specs. The 90Hz refresh rate is a little surprising considering that the more affordable Realme Narzo 30 Pro 5G (Review) has a 120Hz display. The Realme 8s 5G is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 810 5G processor, and it comes with either 6GB or 8GB of RAM. There is a dedicated microSD card slot on both models, which lets you expand the storage up to 128GB. In addition, Realme has a Virtual RAM feature, which lets you extend your RAM by using 5GB of storage. Battery and charger are both 5000mAh. The Realme 8s 5G comes with dual 5G and 4G VoLTE connectivity. The device supports Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi ac, and six satellite navigation systems.
